Unacademy has named Abhinandan Narayan as the Chief Business Officer(CBO) for its group company Prepladder. PrepLadder is an ed-tech company targeting students preparing for competitive exams providing relevant high quality content to them; focussing majorly on exams like NEET-PG, FMGE, SS etc.
In his new role, Abhinandan is expected to grow and scale the business; and increase market share significantly.
Prior to Unacademy, Abhinandan worked for ANS Commerce between 2023 and 2024. He played the esteemed roles of Vice President and Chief Executive Officer – International Business and SAAS at the company. Before this, he associated with Hindustan Times as Vice President for Hindustan Times, Hindustan, Mint, Fever 104, and Radio One, from 2021 to 2022. Previous to this, he served for CarDekho between 2015 and 2021, where he worked in various leading roles in Sales, Strategy and Business Development.
Prior to his tenure with CarDekho, Abhinandan positioned as Area Business Head at Berger Paints from 2014 to 2015. Before this, he associated with Mahindra & Mahindra as Business Consultant – Rural Expansion Project for a short period. Previous to this, he worked for Microsoft as Marketing Consultant between 2011 and 2013 and as Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from 2010 to 2012.
With an extensive experience, Abhinandan has expertise in P&L Management of upwards of 200 Cr, Sales, Sales Planning, Business Development, Market Entry & Growth planning and execution strategies.
