Big FM launches the evening show with Khurafati Nitin in Delhi

Share Share ShareShare

New Delhi: Big FM has brought on-board RJ Nitin for its Delhi station. The renowned RJ will be hosting the ‘Evening show with Khurafati Nitin’ and keep listeners engaged through his musical parodies and comical take on current scenarios. To announce the launch of the show, the radio network has initiated a 92.7 hours long RJ Marathon in Delhi with an aim to promote women’s safety. The campaign #Care4Her was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Romil Baaniya. RJ Nitin’s show, which went live from 12th June, will air Monday-Friday from 5pm to 7pm.

During the four-day long marathon, Khurafati Nitin will visit different parts of the city and connect with listeners on-ground to highlight issues relating to the safety of women in the national capital. The RJ will also interact with representatives from government bodies during his live on-air broadcast to extend the conversations on keeping Delhi safe for women. 92.7 BIG FM has associated with NGO Jagori for the cause and received support from Delhi Police, celebrities and political dignitaries for the campaign.

92.7 BIG FM has been refreshing its programming during 2017 and bringing RJ Nitin on the network highlights its commitment to provide listeners with distinctive show formats. The Evening show will feature RJ Nitin being his natural self – a Khurafati Entertainer with his pranks and witty humour. Aligning the show with the station’s ‘Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge’ positioning, the show will feature up-tempo music from the golden era targeting listeners during the evening drive time.

Speaking about the development 92.7 BIG FM Spokesperson said, “92.7 BIG FM, over the years, has not just connected with listeners but also moved forward as a responsible medium creating awareness around social issues. It is this common ideology that makes RJ Nitin a perfect entrant to our BIG family. The evening slot for the popular RJ is expected to attract a large number of listeners, thereby, enhancing the impressions and reach for the advertisers. We look forward to entertain listeners in Delhi with RJ Nitin’s presence on the show and the music from the timeless era.”

Speaking on the launch of his new show, RJ Nitin said, “Over the years 92.7 BIG FM has been captivating listeners in Delhi with original shows based on unique and interesting content. I am glad that now I will get a chance to bring my brand of humour on the show. I hope that collectively we can provide entertainment to our audience as well as offer them a platform to share their problems and issues relating to the city.”

India’s most popular RJ Nitin has been awarded with 2 Indian Achiever’s award for the ‘Best Radio Jockey’ across India for his CSR initiatives. He has been felicitated with most number of prestigious awards such as the RAPA, Promaxx and Paranshree award. He is also the recipient of 3 Media Federation of India Awards, 2 Indian Achiever’s award for the ‘Best Radio Jockey’ across India for CSR initiatives on radio and 3 prestigious ‘New York Festival’ awards. He has also been awarded the title of ‘Most Popular Radio Jockey of Delhi’ by Ormax Media. Apart from being a famous radio jockey and television presenter, RJ Nitin is a well-known theatre artist and has produced over 45 plays.
