Mumbai: Simply Fresh, the flagship brand of BN Group and a player in India’s edible oil market, has unveiled a socially conscious campaign titled #DiwaliKeBaadKiSafai. This initiative encourages individuals to extend their cleanup efforts beyond the traditional pre-Diwali preparations, highlighting the importance of maintaining cleanliness after the festivities to create a welcoming environment in homes and communities.

In India, the practice of thoroughly cleaning homes before Diwali symbolizes the removal of negativity and the welcoming of prosperity. However, it is common for neighborhoods to be left cluttered with festive remnants once the celebrations conclude. Simply Fresh’s #DiwaliKeBaadKiSafai campaign seeks to inspire citizens to continue the festive spirit by promoting cleanliness not only within their homes but also in their surroundings.

The campaign features a heartwarming narrative of a grandmother imparting a valuable lesson to her reluctant grandchild: “Diwali doesn’t truly end until the house and neighborhood shine together.” This touching moment beautifully encapsulates the essence of community responsibility and the importance of continued cleanup efforts after the festive celebrations.

Kiran Giradkar, Group Chief Marketing Officer of BN Group, remarked, “Diwali is a time for joy, togetherness, and tradition. While pre-Diwali cleaning is a common practice, the real challenge lies in maintaining that cleanliness after the celebrations. With #DiwaliKeBaadKiSafai, we aim to inspire collective responsibility for keeping not just homes, but also the community clean. At BN Group, we focus on the bigger picture, crafting campaigns that extend beyond business to make a positive impact on society. Our goal remains consistent: to contribute meaningfully and make the world a better place.”

The campaign will be rolled out across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, inviting everyone to share their post-Diwali cleanup stories using the hashtag #DiwaliKeBaadKiSafai.

This initiative follows the success of Simply Fresh’s earlier campaigns, such as #BappaHiBatayenge during Ganesh Chaturthi, which highlighted cultural connections within families, and #HarLadkiDurga during Durga Puja, emphasizing the warmth and significance of family gatherings. Simply Fresh continues to champion fresh ideas that resonate with the community and promote positive social change.
