Supertails celebrates 4 years with ‘Feed a Streetie’ campaign for India’s Street Dogs

Bangalore: Supertails, a tech-enabled pet-care startup, is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a heartwarming campaign — Feed a Streetie — dedicated to giving back to the furry friends who bring unconditional love to our streets. Marking the milestone with purpose, the company has distributed 1000 kilograms of nutritious dog food across Delhi, Dehradun, and Bangalore through trusted local feeders.

Staying true to its mission of building a compassionate, inclusive pet care ecosystem, Supertails teamed up with three well-known grassroots feeders: Modern Mowgli, Rescue by Garima, and Manjari from South Bengaluru Cares. These collaborations are helping Supertails turn its birthday into a street-wide celebration — where the real VIPs are the streeties.

“Every pet, whether living in a home or on the streets, deserves love, dignity, and a full bowl of food. With Feed a Streetie, we are not just celebrating a milestone, we are recognising and honouring the street dogs who are so often overlooked. This campaign is our way of giving back to the community that continuously inspires our purpose and mission,” said Varun Sadana, Aman Tekriwal, and Vineet Khanna, Co-founders of Supertails.

According to estimates by the Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO), India is home to over 62 million stray dogs, many of whom rely on community feeding for survival. Feed a Streetie aims to not only nourish these dogs but also raise awareness and support for the humans who tirelessly care for them.

The initiative came to life on Instagram with a series of collab reels between Supertails and the feeders’ handles. These videos highlight raw, real moments from the feeding drives — capturing the bond between animals and their caregivers while showing the public how impactful small acts of kindness can be.

With the campaign’s lighthearted tagline, “Cake Katega, Sabme Batega!”, Supertails is encouraging its community to join in the celebrations. Viewers can participate by adding a Feed a Furrball box to their cart on the Supertails app or website — a contribution that directly supports feeding more street dogs.

By launching Feed a Streetie, Supertails reinforces its belief that compassion should be inclusive, and every paw counts. As the company looks ahead, it remains committed to creating a world where all pets — from living rooms to footpaths — are seen, supported, and celebrated.
