Smart Commerce by Amazon tackles gender bias in AI’s skewed results

Smart Commerce by Amazon has sparked conversations about biased results generated by artificial intelligence (AI) on ‘Women in Business’.

Conceptualised by GOZOOP Group, the #unbAIsed campaign encourages the conscious sharing of stories about women in business to rectify this imbalance caused by decades of biased data fed to the internet.

The campaign emphasises that AI is not inherently biased towards a particular gender, but the skewed results are due to the biased nature of data. The campaign vividly showcases the inherent bias that still exists in the areas of entrepreneurship, business, and commerce, highlighting the importance of acknowledging and celebrating women entrepreneurs to create a more equitable online environment for future generations.
