BARC Wk 47: Star Plus tops Urban HSM; Zee Anmol continues its dominance in Rural and U+R HSM

BARC Wk 2 : Sony regains top spot in Urban HSM & becomes No. 2 in U+R; Zee Anmol continues to lead Rural

Mumbai: According to the BARC data for week 47, for the period between Saturday, 17th November 2018 and Friday, 23rd November 2018, the HSM Urban has got a new topper this week as Star Plus has over taken Sony with 496 million impressions and merged as the leader while Sony settled for No. 2 position (447 million Imps). Zee TV stood at No. 3 with 419 million impressions. Colors at No. 4 garnered 412 million impressions and Star Bharat stood at No. 5 with 372 million impressions.

In Urban + Rural HSM Zee Anmol continued to lead the market with 839 million impressions, while Star Bharat at No. 2 reaped 759 million impressions and Star Plus with 707 million impressions stood at third position. Star Utsav and Zee TV settled to fourth and Fifth place respectively with 706 million impressions and 687 million impressions respectively.

In Rural HSM Zee Anmol retained its leadeship with 684 million impressions, followed by Star Utsav on the second spot with 491 million impressions and Sony Pal on the third with 428 million impressions. Star Bharat and Dangal TV stood on the fourth and fifth positions with 386 million and 349 million impressions, respectively.
