Powering its digital transformation efforts, Times Network has appointed Savvy Dilip as Executive Vice President & Head- Digital Growth. Savvy will lead product development, content-led audience growth, technology-based digital consumer experiences, social media amplification, and online marketing for all the digital platforms of the Network. A seasoned professional, Savvy brings in-depth expertise across Marketing, Media, Product, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. Savvy will be reporting to Vivek Srivastava- President Strategy & Operations – Broadcast & Digital in her new role.
Savvy was the Group CMO of iTV Network from August 2014 to October 2015. Her prime responsibilities were to bring all the channels under one Network, launch the network brand, achieve brand and cost synergies, increase revenues.
During her stint with iTV Network, Savvy built the network identity and launched the ITV Network brand. Repositioned and rebranded NewsX and India News. She also Instituted a new division, “Skope”, to accelerate revenues growth (other than ad sales) and monetize successfully.
In 2015, she, along with her husband Dilip Venkatraman, founded VideoTap, a Video Experience Management Platform. VideoTap helps Video Content Publishers increase consumer engagement and achieve higher ROI.
Savvy has worked as VP, Marketing at Network18 for a tenure of 7 years. Her responsibility as Head of Marketing was to build the brand, create monetizable editorial and advertiser-funded properties, and help increase revenues.
