V6 Velugu achieves YouTube Diamond Play Button Milestone

Hyderabad: V6 Velugu, the digital arm of Telangana news broadcaster V6 News, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 10 million subscribers on its YouTube channel, earning the prestigious YouTube Diamond Play Button. This recognition places V6 Velugu among an exclusive group of global content creators who have reached this remarkable achievement.

In a personal message, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan congratulated V6 Velugu, stating, “You’re part of a remarkable group of YouTube creators who bring together millions of viewers through your unique storytelling and creativity. We know it hasn’t always been easy and tool a lot of hard work. But through your perseverance, you’ve achieved what few have done. And perhaps most impressive of all, you created a community that touches lives around the world.”

V6 News journey began on January 26, 2013, and within just one and a half years, it garnered over 100,000 subscribers, earning the Silver Creator Award in August 2015. By September 2017, the channel had reached 1 million subscribers, receiving the Gold Creator Award. By February 2024, V6 had become the largest Telugu-language news channel on YouTube, with over 10 million subscribers.

The channel’s success is attributed to its commitment to delivering authentic news, cultural programming, and social issue discussions in the Telugu language. V6 Velugu has become a trusted source for the Telugu-speaking community worldwide, offering content that resonates with viewers’ interests and values.

The Editorial team and the management expressed gratitude for the achievement, stating, “Our credibility has been our greatest asset. The unwavering support from our viewers has been instrumental in reaching this significant milestone.”

With over 337,000 uploads and more than 12 billion video views, V6 Velugu continues to be a leading force in digital news broadcasting, setting new standards for content creation and community engagement.
